Addressing the press at the scene, Rasyidin confirmed that while the downstream track has been cleared and reopened for rail traffic, the commuter rail system is not yet equipped to handle passenger embarkation or disembarkation at East Bekasi Station. Consequently, current Commuter Line operations are being restricted to terminate at Bekasi Station.

The tragic collision, which involved the Argo Bromo Anggrek train and a KRL Commuter Line, occurred on Monday night (April 27). The incident has resulted in seven confirmed fatalities thus far. Emergency response teams continue to work on the challenging process of evacuating passengers who remain trapped following the crash.
