Actor Fajar Sadboy recently shared the reassuring response from fellow actress Amanda Manopo after he was involved in a motorcycle accident in East Jakarta. Fajar revealed that Amanda learned of the unfortunate incident through their shared brand partners, as both celebrities are currently collaborating on a project. “Kak Amanda asked, ‘How are you?’ and I told her, thankfully, I’m doing well,” Fajar recounted during an interview in South Jakarta.

Fajar Sadboy’s manager, Asfa, further clarified that they hadn’t been able to directly inform Amanda about the accident at first, as Fajar was still in the immediate recovery phase. “Since we had a joint project with Kak Amanda at the time, we ultimately relayed the news to the brand’s representatives. That’s how Kak Amanda became aware,” Asfa explained. He added that Amanda displayed remarkable understanding, offering flexibility for their postponed work. “She also said it was perfectly fine to rest today and that they could continue once Fajar had fully recovered,” Asfa stated.

While Amanda Manopo’s reaction offered solace, the news of Fajar Sadboy’s accident sent shockwaves through his family. Fajar revealed that his parents were profoundly shaken upon learning about his motorcycle crash. He even mentioned that his mother nearly fainted upon hearing the distressing news. “My mother already knew; she fainted. Almost… almost fainted. But it was actually my sister who fainted, right in front of her phone,” Fajar recounted, highlighting the intense emotional toll the incident took on his loved ones.
The incident itself occurred on Saturday, April 4th, in the morning, as Fajar was making his way back to his apartment after an overnight stay at the office. He described losing control of his motorcycle and falling after applying the brakes on a slippery road, resulting in his bike colliding with the curb. The unfortunate accident left Fajar Sadboy with significant injuries, including a fracture in his left hand, various bruises across his body, and a detached thumbnail. Currently, he faces an estimated recovery period of approximately one month, during which he will have to postpone several ongoing professional engagements.
