Agustinus further elaborated that Virgoun’s decision is not only misguided but also constitutes a violation of Supreme Court regulations, given that legal custody remains with Inara. “We cannot allow anyone, not even the biological father, to forcibly take children without the consent of the mother who holds legal custody,” he asserted. “This is, in essence, a form of violence. We must also consider the psychological impact on the children.”
Inara has also claimed that Virgoun has severed communication access since forcibly taking the children. “Just recently, after a long period, Ms. IR finally went to her children’s school to try and meet them,” Sirait revealed.
In light of these developments, Agustinus Sirait affirmed that Komnas PA is prepared to facilitate peaceful negotiations or mediation between the two parties. “We have suggested to Ms. IR that mediation with the biological father should be pursued. We will invite him to Komnas PA to clarify the situation and seek common ground,” he concluded.

Inara Rusli’s name recently dominated headlines following the protracted aftermath of her alleged unregistered marriage (nikah siri) to businessman Insanul Fahmi. The controversy began in November 2025 when content creator Wardatina Mawa sparked public uproar with her social media posts detailing the breakdown of her marriage.
In her emotional posts, Wardatina Mawa accused her husband, Insanul Fahmi, of having a special relationship with Inara Rusli. It was widely rumored that Insanul Fahmi had secretly married the musician Virgoun’s ex-wife in a religious ceremony (siri) without Mawa’s knowledge or consent.
