In an Instagram post, Noor Korompot elaborated on the profile of Mitchell Baker, a player of Indonesian descent whose name might still be relatively unfamiliar to avid followers of the Indonesian National Team. He is noted to be a promising 19-year-old striker with significant potential.
According to Korompot, Mitchell Baker’s talent was recognized as he was included in the player draft for the MLS club Colorado Rapids for the 2026 season. The 19-year-old striker is envisioned to become a vital part of Indonesia’s young national team squad, bringing fresh dynamism to their ranks.

“Baker’s name will adorn Indonesia’s young national team squad. Please be patient awaiting the official PSSI announcement in due course. I’m just making an educated guess for now,” he added, hinting at the official confirmation to come.
Meanwhile, Luke Vickery’s name is arguably much more recognizable within football circles. The player from the Australian club Macarthur FC has previously expressed his keen interest in representing the Indonesian National Team, making his inclusion less of a surprise.
Noor Korompot asserts that Luke Vickery and Mitchell Baker are set to be among the first wave of players to complete the naturalization process, ready to proudly represent Timnas Indonesia.
