Confirming his status on Sunday (March 15), Jane Rosalina, Head of KontraS’s Impunity Monitoring Division, stated, “Andrie has been moved to the HCU on the 9th floor. Only family and one KontraS member are allowed to wait. Since the HCU is different from a VIP room, Andrie cannot be visited for now as he needs to undergo intensive medical care.” This critical period necessitates strict isolation to ensure his recovery.
Consequently, previous arrangements for scheduling visits have been temporarily suspended. “For the time being, the Google Sheet for visit schedules has been closed. If anyone wishes to show solidarity and send messages to Andrie, there are friends stationed in the RSCM lobby managing a guest book and collecting messages for him. However, access to the 9th floor remains restricted,” Jane explained, highlighting the community’s outpouring of support despite visitation limitations.
Jane has appealed for collective prayers and unwavering support for Andrie’s swift recovery. She also issued an important reminder to the public, urging them not to disseminate any photos or videos depicting Andrie’s condition in the hospital unless they originate from official sources such as KontraS or YLBHI. “We are immensely grateful for all the solidarity and assistance that has been extended,” she added, emphasizing the appreciation for the community’s compassion.
