
The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, officially presided over the inauguration of several key high-ranking officials at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Sunday (May 17). During the ceremony, General Sigit also oversaw the formal handover of duties for several Regional Police Chiefs (Kapolda), including the appointment of Inspector General Kalingga Rendra Raharja as the new Chief of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police.
National Police Spokesperson, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, emphasized that these leadership rotations are a standard organizational practice within the police force. According to the police leadership, these strategic moves are essential for ensuring that public services remain at an optimal level across the country.
“Personnel rotations within the National Police institution serve as a vital mechanism for organizational renewal and professional career development,” Johnny stated during a press briefing in Jakarta. The following individuals have been appointed to their new positions within the National Police structure:
- Commissioner General R. Z. Panca Putra – Head of the Education and Training Institute (Kalemdiklat Polri)
- Brigadier General Nasri – Chief of Central Sulawesi Regional Police
- Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji – Chief of Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police
- Brigadier General Arif Budiman – Chief of North Maluku Regional Police
- Inspector General Kalingga Rendra Raharja – Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police
- Brigadier General Yudhi Sulistianto Wahid – Chief of Bengkulu Regional Police
- Senior Commissioner Yudi Arkara Oktabera – Head of the National Police Headquarters Services (Kayanma Polri)
