The sacred journey for 360 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims from Yogyakarta Embarkation’s Group 1 (YIA 1) commenced its final leg today with their arrival in Makkah around 1:00 PM Saudi Arabian time. These pilgrims, originating from Kulonprogo, mark the crucial initial wave of Indonesian Hajj participants transitioning from Madinah to the holy city of Makkah.
Their arrival was met with relief and gratitude by officials. Ronald Paul Sinyal, Head of Sector 7 in the Misfalah Region, expressed his profound thanks for the seamless arrival of this pioneering group within his operational area. He confirmed the efficient processing, stating, “All pilgrims have successfully settled into their rooms,” when interviewed at the Al Asalah Al Bakkiya Hotel on Thursday, April 30.
Thirteen buses carefully transported the 360 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims to their accommodation at the Al Asalah Al Bakkiya Hotel. A poignant mix of happiness, immense gratitude, and visible emotion radiated from the faces of the pilgrims as they disembarked, clearly moved by finally reaching the heart of their spiritual destination.

As the very first cohort to arrive in the holy city of Makkah, these pilgrims received a special welcome. They were greeted not only by dedicated Hajj officials but also by representatives from various Saudi Arabian companies, underscoring the significance of their journey and the meticulous preparations for their comfort.
According to Sinyal, the day’s arrivals extended beyond the initial group. Two additional groups from separate embarkations were also scheduled to arrive and will be housed in Hotels 710 and 714, both situated within Sector 7 of the Misfalah region.

In a broader scope for today, a significant total of 12 Indonesian Hajj pilgrim groups are expected to reach Makkah.
