Sugiman, a 55-year-old eyewitness who was at the location, reported hearing two distinct booming sounds before the flames erupted. “First, there was a small explosion sound, like a ‘brak!’ Then, another bang followed, and suddenly the fire was visible. However, it was handled quickly from the inside,” Sugiman explained.

As of the latest monitoring at 8:45 PM WIB, officials have confirmed that the fire is completely out and the situation has returned to normal. Firefighting units and personnel have since left the premises, and the area at Poins Mall is now secure.
