Viral videos widely shared across social media platforms vividly capture the bizarre scene: a sizable white cow stands prominently atop the wedding dais, typically reserved for the bride and groom. Around it, chairs are seen strewn haphazardly across the floor, many toppled over, with some even visibly broken, painting a clear picture of the brief but intense disruption.

According to Karanglewas Police Chief AKP Heri Sudaryanto, the peculiar incident transpired on Tuesday, May 26th, at approximately 7:00 PM Western Indonesian Time (WIB). The cow, an animal being prepared for sacrifice, was identified as belonging to a resident from RT 04 RW 04 within Pasir Kulon Village.

“The cow managed to get loose from its rope,” explained Chief Heri when confirming the details of the runaway animal. He added, “Residents made immediate efforts to secure it, but it ultimately entered the wedding venue before they could fully intervene.”

Fortunately, Chief Heri assured that despite the dramatic intrusion and the resulting chaos, no injuries or fatalities were reported during the incident. The damage was confined to property, with the police chief stating, “Only the wedding tables and chairs were scattered and damaged.”
