Jasa Marga, Indonesia’s premier toll road operator, has announced a significant 30 percent toll tariff discount to facilitate smoother travel during the upcoming Lebaran 2026 (Eid al-Fitr) holiday period. This special promotion will be effective from Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 00:00 WIB, until Monday, March 16, 2026, at 24:00 WIB. The two-day discount, coinciding with H-6 to H-5 of Lebaran, is specifically aimed at easing the initial phase of the major homecoming exodus, known as mudik. Jasa Marga’s President Director, Rivan A. Purwantono, confirmed the initiative, stating, “Starting early tomorrow, Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 00:00 WIB, Jasa Marga will implement a 30 percent toll tariff discount,” in an official statement released on Saturday, March 14.
This strategic program underscores Jasa Marga’s commitment to supporting government efforts in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic during both the Lebaran 2026 homecoming and return journeys. Beyond mere cost savings, the initiative is designed to more evenly distribute traffic volume across the toll network, thereby mitigating potential congestion at peak times. Rivan further clarified that this valuable discount is exclusively applicable to motorists undertaking continuous journeys and making payments using their electronic money cards, promoting efficiency and cashless transactions on the toll roads.
The extensive 30 percent toll discount will be implemented across nine key toll road sections managed by the Jasa Marga Group, strategically located within the Trans Jawa, Trans Sumatra, and Bandung-Cisumdawu networks. Specifically, for the vital Trans Jawa network, the discount applies to the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, the Mohammed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Elevated Toll Road, the Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road, the Batang-Semarang Toll Road, and the Semarang Section ABC Toll Road. Meanwhile, travelers utilizing the Trans Sumatra network can benefit from reduced fares on the Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa (Belmera) Toll Road and the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi (MKTT) Toll Road. Additionally, within the Bandung-Cisumdawu region, the discount will be active on the Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang (Cipularang) Toll Road and the Padalarang-Cileunyi (Padaleunyi) Toll Road, covering major routes for holiday travelers.
To ensure a truly seamless and safe travel experience during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/Lebaran 2026 holiday period, Jasa Marga strongly advises all toll road users to meticulously plan their journeys in advance. Crucially, motorists should leverage real-time traffic information available through the Travoy application to optimize their routes and avoid delays. Before embarking on any journey, it is imperative to verify that both the vehicle and driver are in optimal condition. Furthermore, travelers are encouraged to utilize rest areas wisely for adequate breaks, confirm sufficient fuel levels, ensure their electronic money cards have ample balance, and strictly adhere to all traffic signs and directives from field officers.
For continuous monitoring of traffic conditions, users can access real-time CCTV footage directly from the toll roads via the comprehensive Travoy application. Beyond live monitoring, Travoy also provides up-to-the-minute traffic updates and allows users to request assistance. Additional traffic information and direct service requests are readily available through Jasa Marga’s dedicated One Call Center at 133, their official X account @PTJASAMARGA, and other official Jasa Marga social media channels, ensuring travelers have multiple avenues for support and information throughout their holiday journeys.
