
Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya recently shared a significant moment featuring President Prabowo Subianto as he attended the 2026 International Workers’ Day, or May Day, celebrations at the National Monument (Monas) in Central Jakarta on Friday, May 1.
Through his official social media channels, Teddy emphasized that President Prabowo stands as a true ally to the labor force. He noted that the President’s commitment is clearly reflected in the various policies implemented throughout his administration aimed at improving workers’ lives.
“The President is a friend to the working class. He has launched numerous policies specifically designed to ensure the welfare and prosperity of all laborers,” Teddy wrote in a post on the Cabinet Secretariat’s official Instagram account, @sekretariat.kabinet, on Saturday, May 2.
During the event, Teddy highlighted the vibrant atmosphere at Monas, where workers from various organizations and professional backgrounds gathered in solidarity. The gathering served as a testament to the collective spirit of the nation’s workforce.
“This morning, the enthusiasm of hundreds of thousands of workers, representing diverse organizations and professional backgrounds from across Indonesia, surged at Monas,” Teddy remarked.
Concluding his message, Teddy extended his warm wishes for International Workers’ Day, reinforcing the idea that the strength of the nation is intrinsically linked to the well-being of its laborers. “Happy International Workers’ Day… When workers are prosperous, Indonesia is strong,” he stated.
