Teknowarta – Adhitia Putra Herawan, Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, has shed light on the strategic coaching reshuffle that sees Igor Tolic take over the reins from Bojan Hodak. Adhitia explained that this significant transition was made after careful consideration, focusing on the long-term continuity and stability of the Pangeran Biru (Blue Princes) squad.
Persib Bandung made this bold move shortly after clinching the 2025/2026 Super League title. While the management has relieved Hodak of his duties as head coach, the Croatian tactician will remain an integral part of the organization. He has been appointed to the newly created role of Shareholders Group Technical Advisor.
Stepping into the spotlight as the new head coach is Igor Tolic. The 48-year-old is a familiar face within the club, having previously served as the assistant coach. This promotion marks a significant step up for Tolic as he takes full responsibility for the defending champions.
