The former Bima City Police Chief, AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, has identified an alleged drug dealer named Erwin in a sworn statement pertaining to the high-profile narcotics case involving himself. This critical document, which lays out Didik’s defense, was made public by his legal representative, Rofiq Ashari, following a Police Ethics Code Commission (KKEP) hearing held at the TNCC Building of the National Police Headquarters in South Jakarta on Thursday, February 19.
In the opening section of his detailed statement, Didik vehemently denied ever instructing AKP Maulangi, the former Head of the Bima City Police Narcotics Unit, to solicit money from any specific individuals. “I hereby declare that I never ordered saudara AKP Maulangi, the former Head of Narcotics Unit of Bima City Police, to ask for money from someone named Ko Erwin,” he clarified, directly addressing the accusations against him.
Furthermore, Didik unequivocally refuted any command or collaboration with any party, including the individual identified as Erwin, concerning the circulation or trade of narcotics or other prohibited substances. He asserted, “I have never asked or ordered saudara AKP Maulangi, the former Head of Narcotics Unit of Bima City Police, to collaborate with anyone, including the person named Ko Erwin. Specifically, regarding the distribution or sale of narcotics, psychotropics, or any other type of illegal drugs.”
Crucially, Didik went on to emphasize in his subsequent remarks that he possesses no personal or professional relationship whatsoever with the figure named Erwin.

“I confirm that I have never known, never met, and never collaborated in any form with someone named Ko Erwin,” he declared, strongly distancing himself from the alleged dealer.
Significantly, Didik also addressed the ownership of the narcotics and psychotropics discovered inside a suitcase at Dianita’s residence. He explicitly stated that these illicit items were his personal property. “The narcotics and psychotropics found inside the suitcase at Dianita’s house are my personal property. And they have no connection whatsoever with saudara AKP Maulangi, also known as Pak Eki, the former Head of Narcotics Unit of Bima City Police,” he affirmed, taking full responsibility for the contraband.
Didik concluded his powerful affidavit by underscoring that the document was prepared under conscious conditions and without any coercion or undue pressure from any external parties. “This statement is made by me consciously and with full responsibility, without any pressure from anyone,” he stated, lending weight to the authenticity of his declarations.
