Ngada Police Chief, AKBP Andrey Valentino, confirmed that investigators are meticulously pursuing all leads, including interviewing teachers from the victim’s school. This crucial step aims to determine whether the child may have been a victim of bullying. “Investigators are also examining school officials, including the victim’s teachers. This is being done to ascertain whether the victim was subjected to bullying or not. This remains a key focus of the investigation,” he stated on Wednesday (4/2).

Police are currently operating on the initial premise that the child’s death was a suicide driven by despair. “The temporary motive is suicide due to despair. This appears to be the child’s own intention. The victim also did not own a cellphone,” AKBP Valentino added, providing further insight into the developing case.
