In a press conference held at the South Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on Friday, January 30, AKBP Mukhamad Iskandarsyah, Head of the South Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit, unveiled the detailed chronology surrounding the discovery of influencer Lula Lahfah’s body. He meticulously outlined Lula’s movements and activities from Thursday evening, January 22, leading up to the tragic discovery at her Kebayoran Baru apartment in South Jakarta on Friday night, January 23.
Here is a complete breakdown of the events:
Thursday, January 22
15.19 WIB
Lula, accompanied by her friend identified as VA, departed from Lula’s apartment. Their destination was a cafe situated within the South Jakarta area. Iskandar elaborated on this initial activity, stating, “The activity began when sister LL (Lula Lahfah) was with her colleague, sister VA. We observed them from the CCTV footage in the lift; the two individuals highlighted in the footage are sister LL and her colleague sister VA, exiting the apartment.” He further added, “Beyond the apartment’s CCTV, we endeavored to trace sister LL’s movements at that time. We eventually located them at a cafe in the South Jakarta region, specifically on Jalan Gunawarman.”
17.41 WIB
Following their time at the cafe, Lula and VA left the establishment. They then boarded a private vehicle, specifically Lula’s black car, to make their return journey to the apartment. Iskandar noted, “Sister LL and sister VA concluded their activity, then proceeded to sister LL’s private vehicle. We observed them using a black vehicle, still with the two individuals.” He continued, “Sister LL then arrived back at her apartment unit, still with the same person, sister VA, heading up to the floor where sister LL resided.”

19.37 WIB
Lula departed from her apartment once more, this time in the company of a different friend, C. They proceeded to the basement. Iskandar confirmed this, stating, “The next activity from the floor where sister LL lived showed a different person, sister C. We have already taken her statement as a witness; she descended from sister LL’s floor towards the basement.” It was subsequently revealed that their destination was a hospital. “Based on the available evidence, we have reviewed medical records and hospital payment proofs, indicating that sister LL underwent treatment at a hospital also located in South Jakarta. This is corroborated by sister C’s testimony,” Iskandar clarified. Concurrently, Lula’s domestic assistant, A, left Lula’s apartment unit to go to the lobby, where she collected a package. Iskandar mentioned, “From the CCTV in the lobby, we observed sister A, the domestic assistant, carrying a package that we were later able to identify.”
23.51 WIB
Lula’s domestic assistant, A, returned to Lula’s apartment unit. Shortly thereafter, Lula and C also returned to the apartment. Iskandar described the scene, “Upon reaching the unit, sister A had already placed the item in a specific position, and it was then observed that sister LL and sister C returned to sister LL’s apartment unit.” He concluded the day’s events, adding, “The activities for that day concluded as we had checked several CCTV recordings and found no further activities related to sister LL. Next.”
Friday, January 23

From early morning on Friday, no activity from Lula was detected on the apartment’s CCTV cameras. Iskandar noted, “On the following day, sister LL’s usual activities were not observed, whereas sister LL typically engaged in morning exercise, but on that occasion, there was none. This raised suspicion from sister A, the domestic assistant.” This unusual silence naturally heightened concerns.
17.37 WIB
Growing increasingly worried, Lula’s domestic assistant, A, descended to the lobby to seek assistance. Lula had not responded to her calls, and her room remained locked from the inside. Iskandar explained, “The domestic assistant went downstairs, as seen on the lobby CCTV, where sister A was observed attempting to find help because she could not open the door to sister LL’s unit and received no response.” He added, “Sister A was able to communicate with witness Y. Witness Y here is the security personnel of the apartment where sister LL resided.”
17.43 WIB
Lula’s domestic assistant, A, accompanied by the apartment’s security personnel, Y, proceeded to Lula’s apartment unit. Despite their efforts, Lula’s room still could not be opened. Consequently, the security personnel requested further assistance from the apartment’s engineering team.
17.47 WIB
At this critical juncture, the team forcibly opened the room. Inside, they made the grim discovery: Lula was found lying motionless and stiff. Iskandar emphasized, “This is the crucial point. At 17.47, based on witness statements, the door to the room occupied by sister LL was locked from the inside. Therefore, engineering forcibly opened the lock, leading to the discovery of sister LL lying stiff.” He continued, “At that moment, sister A and sister R, who was the private driver present, panicked, prompting these witnesses to contact several of sister LL’s closest friends.”
18.14 WIB
Lula’s friends, VA and C, promptly returned to her apartment to check on her condition. Iskandar stated, “They found sister LL’s body already placed on the bed.” In the aftermath, Lula’s boyfriend, Reza Arap, a member of the music group Weird Genius, was contacted and asked to come to the apartment. “Therefore, one of the witnesses tried to contact sister LL’s boyfriend and informed him of the latest situation that had occurred in sister LL’s apartment unit,” Iskandar explained. He further clarified C’s role: “From here, sister C, one of the witnesses who is also an assistant to sister LL’s boyfriend, brother RA (Reza Arap), was asked by brother RA to find a doctor to confirm sister LL’s condition.”
19.13 WIB
Reza Arap arrived at the apartment, accompanied by a doctor who was an acquaintance of C. Iskandar confirmed, “Therefore, on the same CCTV in the lift, brother RA, sister LL’s boyfriend, was seen arriving with the medical team from sister C, who had tried to contact a doctor acquainted with sister C.” He added, “The doctor proceeded to sister LL’s apartment unit.” Following an examination, the doctor officially pronounced Lula deceased.
21.20 WIB
The witnesses then contacted an ambulance. Lula’s body was subsequently transported to Fatmawati Hospital. Iskandar detailed the process, “The ambulance arrived, and here, through the service lift, brother RA, sister LL’s boyfriend, was seen accompanying where sister LL’s body had already been placed in a body bag.” He then provided crucial details about the hospital’s findings: “After this, for the hospital, we proceeded to Fatmawati Hospital, where we have also requested statements and clarification. Fatmawati Hospital’s statement confirmed that sister LL’s condition indicated death due to respiratory failure and there were no signs of assault or violence.”
In their thorough investigation, the police found no criminal elements in this tragic incident. Furthermore, at the family’s request, Lula’s body was not subjected to an autopsy, and the investigation was officially concluded. During the course of their inquiry, police also discovered an empty can of “Whip Pink.” Subsequent checks revealed that the Whip Pink product contains nitrous oxide (N2O).
