Kasus foto AI di JAKI: Lurah Kalisari dibebastugaskan, PPSU di SP1

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has taken decisive action, suspending the Kalisari Village Head along with several section heads (kasi) following a controversial case involving the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to generate Public Facilities and Infrastructure Maintenance Agency (PPSU) work reports. The incident occurred in the Kalisari area of Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, prompting a swift response from the provincial government.

“Regarding the superiors, including the Head of Economic Development Section, the Head of Government Affairs Section, and the Kalisari Village Head, we have suspended them from duty,” Pramono stated. This announcement was made after his attendance at the Town Hall Meeting 2026, held at the Grand Theater of Taman Ismail Marzuki in Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 15th.

Pramono further clarified that this suspension is not a permanent dismissal but rather an integral part of the development and coaching process for State Civil Apparatus (ASN). The aim is to guide these civil servants towards better performance and adherence to regulations.

“We have suspended them from their positions for further coaching. However, I have no intention of destroying anyone’s career. After undergoing this training, we will provide them with an opportunity to contribute more effectively and ethically,” he added, underscoring a commitment to rehabilitation over outright dismissal.

Concurrently, three PPSU officers directly implicated in the violation have received a formal Warning Letter 1 (SP1). Despite this sanction, they have been granted a final opportunity to rectify their performance and demonstrate improved conduct within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s framework.

“This stands as their last chance if they genuinely wish to continue working for DKI Jakarta. Should such an incident recur, we will undoubtedly implement more stringent measures,” Pramono emphatically warned, highlighting the seriousness of the misconduct.

The Governor reiterated that moving forward, there will be zero tolerance for any deviation from proper work practices, explicitly including the manipulation of work reports. To reinforce accountability and transparency, Pramono also confirmed that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is actively enhancing its reporting systems, ensuring they are more open and verifiable for all stakeholders.
