The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) has officially unveiled the final squad for the Indonesia National Team, affectionately known as ‘Garuda’, ahead of the highly anticipated upcoming FIFA Series. Confirming their participation, prominent players Elkan Baggott and Ole Romeny are set to feature in the prestigious event.
Initially, PSSI had announced a substantial 41-player provisional squad for the FIFA Series. Following a meticulous selection process, 17 names were ultimately trimmed, culminating in a final roster of 24 formidable players who will represent the nation.
The FIFA Series is scheduled to take place at the iconic Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, running from March 27 to March 30. This international football event will not only host the Indonesia National Team but also welcome national sides from Bulgaria, Saint Kitts & Nevis, and the Solomon Islands. The tournament promises exciting competition, adopting a clear semifinal and final knockout format.
Ole Romeny’s inclusion in the final Indonesia National Team squad is a significant development. The Oxford United forward had previously been subject to doubts regarding his participation in the FIFA Series, following reports of a potential leg fracture injury. His confirmation brings a boost to the team’s attacking options.

Similarly, Elkan Baggott’s name prominently features on the final ‘Garuda’ squad list. This marks Baggott’s first return to the national team setup after an absence stretching nearly two years. His most recent appearance with the Indonesia National Team was during the 2024 Asian Cup, making his comeback for the FIFA Series particularly noteworthy for fans.
The Indonesia National Team is slated to kick off its FIFA Series campaign against Saint Kitts & Nevis in their opening match on March 27. In another crucial fixture within the series, Bulgaria will face off against the Solomon Islands, promising an engaging start to the tournament.
