Recognized as a vital stop for high volumes of holiday travelers on the bustling Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Rest Area KM 57 is fully prepared to meet fuel demands and offer complimentary MyPertamina Serambi facilities for those taking a break during their journey. This comprehensive readiness was directly observed and monitored by a high-level delegation from Pertamina Patra Niaga, including President Commissioner Sabar Yudo Suroso, Independent Commissioner Prabunindya Revta Revolusi, and Director of Logistics Fleet Arif Yunianto, during their inspection on Monday, March 9th.
During the visit, the Commissioners and Directors of Pertamina Patra Niaga personally greeted customers at the Pertamina gas station at Rest Area KM 57. Their inspection covered the overall preparedness of energy services, the provision of the free MyPertamina Serambi facilities, and a thorough check of the modular fuel units. These specialized units are strategically deployed as an additional solution for fuel distribution in areas prone to high queues, ensuring efficient service during peak periods.
Independent Commissioner Prabunindya Revta Revolusi explained that this on-site review was crucial to confirm Pertamina Patra Niaga’s operational readiness to serve the community, especially during critical travel seasons. “Today, we conducted an inspection to ensure preparedness for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. At the Rest Area KM 57 gas station, all fuel stocks are secure, so there’s no need to panic. All products have been prepared to help people reach their destinations safely,” Prabu stated, reassuring travelers.
Prabu further elaborated on the proactive measures taken by Pertamina Patra Niaga to manage the anticipated surge in fuel consumption along major toll roads. These include deploying two 3,000-liter modular Pertamax fuel units near the Rest Area KM 57 gas station. Additionally, dedicated fuel motorcyclists are on standby at Rest Area KM 57 to assist drivers who might run out of fuel on the toll road, facilitating prompt fuel delivery and ensuring uninterrupted journeys for travelers.
“Fuel stock availability is extremely secure. Even at the busiest points, we have prepared several alternatives, such as these modular units here to help break down queues. If there are long lines at the gas station, we can direct vehicles to these modular fuel points to prevent congestion. We have even prepared fuel motorcyclists in case people encounter issues on the road,” Prabu added, emphasizing the multi-pronged approach to seamless travel.
Beyond ensuring smooth energy distribution, the Commissioners and Directors also reviewed Pertamina’s supplementary services, specifically the complimentary MyPertamina Serambi facilities. These dedicated spaces are designed to offer travelers a comfortable environment for rest and recuperation. “There are several additional facilities prepared, such as the MyPertamina Serambi, so you can rest if you are tired. Drivers should not force themselves to continue if they are exhausted; take a rest here first,” Prabu urged, promoting safety and well-being.
Highlighting the diverse offerings for families, Prabu concluded, “For mothers, there are manicure and pedicure services, for fathers, there’s a barber for haircuts, and children can also enjoy themselves in the comfortable play area. All these services are free, allowing the community to travel for mudik (homecoming) with peace of mind and arrive safely at their destinations.” These amenities underscore Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to a holistic and worry-free travel experience for all commuters.
