During the event, President Prabowo unequivocally stressed the imperative to eliminate corruption, aligning this principle with both religious teachings and historical wisdom. He declared, “Indeed, we must eradicate corruption, malfeasance, and all unethical and illicit practices forbidden by every faith. This is not merely a religious doctrine; it is also a lesson etched in history.” He further elaborated that no nation can truly prosper or achieve success if its government fails to cleanse itself of corrupt practices. “No country succeeds when its government is unable to purge itself of corruption,” Prabowo asserted, highlighting the critical link between integrity and national progress. Furthermore, President Prabowo issued a strong warning against those seeking to exploit Indonesia’s vast resources. “We must not yield to those who seek to seize the people’s wealth, siphon it off to other nations, and leave the Indonesian people and nation in a vulnerable state,” he stated firmly, emphasizing the protection of national assets.

Upholding Global Peace

Moving beyond domestic integrity, Prabowo also addressed Indonesia’s role on the international stage. At the same event, President Prabowo articulated Indonesia’s steadfast commitment to tirelessly strive for global peace. This dedication, he affirmed, is a resolute determination shared by him and his entire administration. “We will endeavor very strenuously to uphold peace. Naturally, maintaining peace is not achieved merely through prayer and hope, but also through concerted effort and diligent hard work,” Prabowo emphasized. He further clarified that in its pursuit of peace, Indonesia will strictly adhere to a policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of any nation, respecting the sovereignty and unique circumstances of each country. “We do not wish to meddle in the domestic affairs of any country. We respect all global powers, both large and small,” he asserted. Confident in Indonesia’s capabilities and its national strength, Prabowo expressed his conviction that the nation can significantly contribute to fostering peace. He concluded by stating, “The Indonesian nation, under the leadership of my government and all my esteemed colleagues, is determined to foster friendship and maintain excellent relations with all peoples, all countries, and all global powers.”
